House of Crocodiles, Siem Reap

Greetings,

“Hello everyone, welcome to our crocodile farm here in Siem Reap! My name is Minh Chanthy, and I’m very happy to share with you a little about our family business.”

“Our crocodile farm is a family business that has been operating since 1983. For generations, our family has been raising crocodiles with care and experience passed down through the years. This is a traditional livelihood in Siem Reap that has helped support many local families for decades.”

“Here, we raise crocodiles mainly for breeding — we sell baby crocodiles to other licensed farms and buyers. We do not kill or process crocodiles here at our farm. Our focus is on raising them safely and responsibly.”
“Our farm is CITES registered and we have official permission from the Cambodian government to operate. That means we follow international and national laws that ensure crocodile farming is done sustainably and ethically.”

“I hope during your visit you can learn more about how crocodiles live and how we take care of them. Please feel free to ask any questions — I’ll be happy to explain more about their behavior, feeding, and breeding process. Thank you for visiting our farm and supporting local Cambodian traditions!”
