We do orientation drive via Tuk Tuk/van in the city and heading to visit House of Crocodiles Farm, a traditional Cambodian family business is among the pioneering crocodile farms in Cambodia established in 1983 in Slor Kram Village, Siem Reap Province, is a notable crocodile breeding operation in Cambodia. Specializing in the breeding of the critically endangered Siamese crocodile (Crocodylus siamensis), the farm began its operations with young specimens acquired from the Siem Reap Crocodile Farm. In recognition of its commitment to sustainable and legal trade practices by emphasizing the importance of animal welfare, the farm received registration under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES AKH- 502) on May 29, 1999.
– Guests will meet up with the farm owner to learn how to incubate the baby crocodile, provide food and take care of the croc’s health and often share interesting facts of obvious experiences and stories about crocodiles, enhancing the educational aspect of the visit. Whatsoever, the guest could have chance to directly hold baby crocodile in hand for fun and take photos for good memories which provides a unique glimpse into the world of these fascinating creatures and contributes to the local tourism industry.
